The conflict between seeing multiple sides of an issue and the insistence that there is only one correct side is the power that fuels Bekah Brunstetter's sweet and provocative multi-layered comedy/drama The Cake, a fictional story that offers evenly sliced arguments regarding the news-making debates involving same-sex couples planning their wedding receptions and bakers who decline their cake-creating business.

The Nora Theatre Company is proud to present Photograph 51 from March 14 to April 15, 2019 and is directed by Rebecca Bradshaw. The press performance is Monday, March 18 at 7:30PM. William Shakespeare's enduring romantic tragedy, Romeo and Juliet comes to the Huntington Theatre Company as a thrillingly modern event helmed by Artistic Director Peter DuBois. The Wilbury Theatre Group continues its record-breaking 2018/19 Main Series season with Nick Payne's Constellations from March 20 - April 14, 2019. Directed by Aubrey Snowden, the Wilbury Group production features Rachel Dulude as astro-physicist Marianne and Wilbury Artistic Director Josh Short as beekeeper, Roland.

ACTUALLY, WE'RE F**KED, a new play by Matt Williams, will be given its world-premiere production at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St. in Manhattan), with previews starting on February 26 prior to an official opening on March 7, it has been announced by Cherry Lane founder Angelina Fiordellisi and artistic director Seri Lawrence. The play is directed by John Pasquin, with whom Mr. Williams has a long-standing collaboration, including the popular television series "Home Improvement."

San Francisco Playhouse announced casting for Dipika Guha's Yoga Play. This will be its second production following the world premiere during South Coast Rep's Pacific Playwrights Festival. Bill Englishwill direct.

A 2017 finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Sarah Delappe's critically acclaimed new play, The Wolves, takes the stage February 27 in Northwest Arkansas. A "smart, hilarious, delightful meditation on society, sex and soccer" (The Village Voice), The Wolves is "an incandescent portrait" of nine American teens (NY Times-Critics' Pick). The University of Texas Department of Theatre and Dance at Austin presents UTNT (UT New Theatre), March 12-31, 2019 in multiple locations throughout the F. Loren Winship Drama Building. Paul Taylor-Mills and Mercury Theatre Colchester in association with Tamasha Theatre Company have announced casting for their brand-new production of Ain't Misbehavin' - the first London revival in almost 25 years - playing at Southwark Playhouse from Friday 19 April to Saturday 1 June, following its premiere at Mercury Theatre Colchester from Friday 15 - Saturday 30 March. Incoming Artistic Director Simon Godwin today announces Shakespeare Theatre Company's 2019-2020 Season. Godwin's debut season highlights his artistic aspirations for the company to create high quality, exciting, inclusive theatre. Godwin states, This is not my season, but ours, everybody's season.
