Jim Caruso's Cast Party is proud to announce the return of MALCOLM GETS to the Broadway at Birdland concert series. Gets will be celebrating the release of his new cd, ?The Journey Home? (PS Classics) on Monday, June 1 at 7pm. Composer/pianist/Emmy winner JOHN McDANIEL will serve as Musical Director for the evening, with Tom Hubbard on bass, Rich Mercurio on drums, Peter Sachon on cello and special guest (and Amour co-star) Melissa Errico, who will duet with Gets.

The Barrow Group Theatre Company presented its 15th Annual Celebrity Doodles Auction & Gala on Monday, May 4th, 2009. Each year celebrities donate their artwork, or doodles, that are auctioned off in this annual fundraiser, at which The Barrow Group also honors individuals for their service to the arts and TBG. This year's honorees include Tony Award Winners Nathan Lane and Judith Ivey and arts advocate Jeff Dine.

The Story of My Life cast recording is set to be released June 2, 2009 by P.S. Classics. Amazon.com is currently taking pre-orders. The recording features the voices of Will Chase, Malcolm Gets, Brian Hill and Richard Maltby Jr.. The music is composed by Neil Bartram

The producers of THE STORY OF MY LIFE and record label PS CLASSICS announced today that they will collaborate on an original cast recording of the Broadway production, set for March 13th. Producer Chase Mishkin said ?I?m thrilled that the wonderful Will Chase and Malcolm Gets will go into the studio to preserve this score as only they can. I hope this gives audiences in the US and around the world a chance to discover a fresh writing team in Neil Bartram and Brian Hill?. Tommy Krasker, co-founder of PS Classics and producer of the recording, anticipates a June 2nd release.
