The official opening night of ALLEGRO is Wednesday, November 19. The cast of ALLEGRO features George Abud (Charlie Townsend), Alma Cuervo (Grandma Taylor), Elizabeth A. Davis (Jenny Brinker), Claybourne Elder (Joseph Taylor Jr.), David Finch (understudy), Malcolm Gets (Joe Taylor Sr.), Maggie Lakis (Hazel), Megan Loomis (Beulah), Paul Lincoln (Brook Lansdale), Kara Mikula (understudy), Jane Pfitsch (Emily), Randy Redd (Dr. Bigby Denby), Ed Romanoff (Ned Brinker) and Jessica Tyler Wright (Marjorie Taylor).

The Kennedy Center presents a one night only performance with Tony Award winner Faith Prince on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. in the Terrace Theater. The evening is part of Barbara Cook's Spotlight, which features theater cabaret performances throughout the 2014-2015 season by Broadway artists chosen by Barbara Cook. Faith Prince's performance Have a Little Faith will feature piano accompaniment by music director Alex Rybeck.

The York Theatre Company launches its 45th anniversary season with its acclaimed Developmental Readings Series and the New York premiere of two new works: Songbook, a play with music written by Stephen Temperley, and Zazou, a play with songs by John Meyer at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). The readings are open to the public with a suggested donation of $5.00.

Chris Isaacson Presents has announced a one-night-only concert event at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre on Saturday, August 16 at 8pm. Broadway Under the Stars will star Tony Award-winner Jennifer Holliday and will also feature (in alphabetical order) Erich Bergen (Jersey Boys, stage and film), Rogelio Douglas, Jr. (In the Heights), Danny Gurwin (Little Women) and Tony Award-nominee Chad Kimball (Memphis) David Galligan will direct, and the music director is Gerald Sternbach.
