Los Angeles-based power pop rocker JEFF WHALEN has released his video for 'The Alien Lanes' which premiered via Substream Magazine today. The track is off his newly released debut solo album, 10 MORE ROCK SUPER HITS, which Substream calls 'a collection of crunchy chorus', 70's UK glam, new wave, and even some classic New York-style punk.' XYZ Films and Starburns Industries announces today that they will produce the biographical documentary WELCOME TO MY DAYDREAM, about the stop-motion animation pioneer Will Vinton. The film will be directed by Marq Evans, and produced by XYZ Films and Starburns Industries, with XYZ handling worldwide sales for the project.

Very few take a deeper, more comprehensive dive into the complexity of female companionship. Even fewer are the product of female authors, directors, playwrights, etc.

Royal Family Productions will present a special invite-only reading of the musical Rock and Roll Refugee. It was only a matter of time before a Hilary Bettis play received a full production in DC. Her work has brought her to Orlando Shakes PlayFest, Bay Area Playwrights Festival, O'Neill National Playwrights Conference, New York Theatre Workshop, Cape Cod Theatre Project and La Jolla Playhouse, among many, many others. She is one of the newest members of The Kilroys and was a writer for FX's The Americans. In her Artistic Statement, she tells us that "through Story we can climb inside others' lives, and quite possibly find understanding, empathy, unity and forgiveness." Her plays - which include Alligator and The Ghosts of Lote Bravo - reveal a writer who cares deeply about the possibility of change through human interaction.

Each year, HERE offers a window into the creative process of their nationally recognized HERE Artist Residency Program (HARP). During the Culturemart Festival, running March 18-23, process becomes the focus, inviting audiences to experience work at various stages of development on their way to full productions.

For those of you who have never been to a production by The Florentine Players, you are in for a treat. It's small town dinner theater. The stage is located at the front of a large space filled with long tables in the Florence City Hall off State Street. At the back of the room is a canteen where you can buy popcorn, cookies, or nachos and a variety of other things. There is a beverage bar in the hallway. It's cozy. It's neighborly. The world's most notorious rock band, Mötley Crüe announces the release of The Dirt Soundtrack that accompanies the upcoming Netflix Film The Dirt, based on the New York Times best-selling 2001 autobiography by Mötley Crüe and Neil Strauss.
