Video: Bryce Pinkham Never Thought He'd Be in Musicals
Bryce Pinkham is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical.
It's been 12 long years since Bryce Pinkham's last Tony nomination for his performance in A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder. This season he is back with a vengence as 'the Arbiter', and don't be fooled, he's on the case... to win!
On his Chess role, he explains: "I went to drama school, so the fact that I'm in musicals still blows my mind. And the fact that I'm out there trying to sing around Lea Michele and Aaron Tveit and Nicholas Christopher... hopefully no one's noticed that I'm not supposed to be here."
Watch in this video as Bryce chats more about the amazing audience reactions at Chess, how his role is different every night, and so much more. Plus, check out who he is up against and catch up on all the latest Tony Awards coverage!
The 79th Annual Tony Awards will air on Sunday, June 7, 2026.
