Producers Paul Blake and Mike Bosner and The Nederlander Organization announced today the launch of an online ticket lottery for Andrew Lloyd Webber's iconic musical, Sunset Boulevard. The Sunset Boulevard Digital Lottery will open daily at 8 am EST (8 pm EST the evening prior for matinee performances), beginning Tuesday, March 7, 2017, for entrants to win a limited number of $55 same day tickets to that day's performance(s). Three-time Tony Award-winner Glenn Close won London's Evening Standard Award for her iconic portrayal of Norma Desmond in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Sunset Boulevard. Close made her West End debut in bravura sold-out limited engagement at the English National Opera (ENO) in April 2016. The award was presented last night, Sunday, November 13, at a ceremony hosted by Sir Elton John and Evening Standard owner Evgeny Lebedev.

This year's 10th Anniversary edition of Broadway Backwards (#bwaybackwards), which was held last night at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street), featured some of the most memorable numbers from previous years. Broadway <3 Canines for Kids is a Valentine's themed concert that celebrates love. The one night only event will benefit Canines for Disabled Kids, a non-profit organization that provides service dogs for disabled children. The companies of Broadway's MATILDA and PIPPIN celebrated the holidays with performances at CBS' annual THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE.

Tony Award winner Priscilla Lopez, who appeared in the legendary original cast of A Chorus Line and was also a replacement for the role of "Fastrada" in the original production of Pippin in 1973, will re-join the all-new Tony Award winning production of Pippin in the role of "Berthe" beginning tonight, Tuesday, November 11. Lucie Arnaz played her final performance in the role on Sunday, November 9 and has rejoined the US national tour. Pippin is now playing through Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street).
