Rover Dramawerks continues their 18th Season with the comedy thriller Smoke & Mirrors by Will Osborne and Anthony Herrera. Performances will be at Rover's theatre in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances run May 10-26 on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.

Rover Presents Fourth Annual 365 Women A Year Festival

For the fourth straight year, Rover Dramawerks is pleased to partner with the playwrights' group 365 Women a Year to present a festival of new plays by women, about women, for everyone. This international playwriting coalition, founded by Jesslynn Eisenberg Chamblee, involves playwrights across the world who have signed on to write one or more plays about extraordinary women in both past and present history. The project's ambitious yet focused goal is to write women back into the social consciousness, as well as empower and promote female playwrights, and plant seeds of herstory around the country.

Not Right Productions Presents INSPECTING CAROL At Rover Dramawerks

New theatre company Not Right Productions presents Inspecting Carol, by Daniel Sullivan and the Seattle Repertory Theatre, directed by Artistic Director Paul McKenzie. Performances will be at Rover Dramawerks in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances are Fridays, December 1 and 8 at 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays, December 2 and 9 at 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., with a preview performance on Thursday, November 30 at 8:00 p.m.

Boog City 11 Festival Kicks Off In One Month

In about a month, from Fri., Sept. 15 through Tues. Sept. 19, it will be time to celebrate Boog's 26th anniversary with the 11th annual Welcome to Boog City poetry, music, theater, and film festival. It will feature 46 poets, 17 musical acts, 8 poets theater plays, 2 poets in conversation with one another, 1 d.a. levy lives visiting press, 1 panel, and 60 minutes of film screenings over the five days.
