Rover Opens 18th Season With Farce Rover Dramawerks begins their 18th Season with the new farce Love, Lies & the Doctor's Dilemma by Michael Parker and Susan Parker. Performances will be at Rover's theatre in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances run January 11-27 on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.

One little white lie leads to another in this hilarious farce about a mild-mannered woman and her son (played by Suzy Dotson and Dennis Ryazanov), complete with a former movie star (Cindy Kahn), a mobster hit man (David Noel), an accident prone next door neighbor (Jenna Caire), a mysterious potting shed, and a gardener (Martin Sinise) inexplicably masquerading as a psychiatrist...whose misguided advice actually seems to work! Will everyone survive the mayhem?

Matt Stepan serves as director, with Darrell Martin as stage manager. Set design is by Lanie Parr, lighting design is by Kenneth Hall, and sound design is by Ryan Brazil. Frances Seman provides costume design, with props designed by Terrie W. Justus.

Thursday, January 11 is Preview Night, with all seats $10.00 in advance online or "pay-what-you-can" at the door. Following the show on Friday, January 12, Rover will host their First Friday INSIDERS reception, where patrons can meet the cast, director, and designers.

Ticket prices for Love, Lies & the Doctor's Dilemma are $24.00 Friday and Saturday nights and $18.00 on Thursdays and matinees, with discounts for students and seniors. Group rates are also available. Tickets may be ordered online at www.roverdramawerks.com.
