Rover Dramawerks continues their 17th Season with the rarely performed 1950s comedy, Dear Delinquent by Jack Poppelwell. Performances will be at Rover's theatre in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances run August 10 - September 2, 2017 on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.

When David (played by Christian R. Black) finds pretty Penelope (Tori Micaletti) robbing his apartment, he decides he must reform her. His fiancée Helen (Avery Baker) is not particularly enthusiastic about the idea, police Detective Sergeant Pidgeon (Chuck Moore) just wants to find his neighbor's missing jewels, and Penelope decides she just wants David! Rounding out the ensemble cast are Jon-Paul McGowan as Penelope's disapproving father, Santosh Vijayakuma as David's longsuffering manservant, Nate Davis as his rich Uncle George, and Sue Goodner as his sweetly confused mother.

Rover's Executive Artistic Director Carol M. Rice serves as director, with Shauna Holloway as stage manager. Set and lighting design are by Maxim Overton, with sound design by Jason Rice. Costume and hair/makeup design are by Shanna Gobin, with props designed by Terrie W. Justus.

Thursday, August 10 is Preview Night, with all seats $10.00 in advance online or "pay-what-you-can" at the door. Following the show on Friday, August 11, Rover will host their First Friday INSIDERS reception, where patrons can meet the cast, director, and designers.
