Broadway Dreams has partnered with the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center and Central Piedmont Community College on the return of their annual Summer Intensive, July 29 - August 5, 2017 in Charlotte, N.C. Lead by an all-star roster of Broadway's brightest stars and industry professionals, Charlotte's rising stars will participate in a week-long intensive focusing on acting, vocal performance and dance. The week will culminate in two public performances of a unique Broadwaystyle cabaret, allowing students to perform alongside their Broadway idols.
Through an unprecedented collaboration with the U.S. Embassy Moscow, the U.S. Department of State, Broadway Moscow, and Stage Entertainment Russia, the not-for-profit performing arts education organization offered master class program in Moscow from March 29 through April 11. On January 24, 2017 composer and orchestrator, Lynne Shankel will release her debut album as a songwriter, BARE NAKED which will feature 21 of her original songs including songs she wrote with lyricist Jon Hartmere for bare: The Musical, which played at New World Stages in 2012.
