Late last motnh, George Takei, Telly Leung, Melinda Doolittle and Lindsay Mendez gathered to preview tracks from ALLEGIANCE at Google in New York City, hosted by Sirius XM's Julie James. The show recently shared a performance by Doolittle, taking on the track 'Higher' from the production. Check it out below!

Allegiance - A New American Musical has been eyeing a Broadway run since it premiered at San Diego's Old Globe last fall. Since then, a New York City reading was held, led by Lea Salonga, George Takei and Telly Leung, all of whom starred in the San Diego production, as well as in a recent backers screening in Austin. Takei just announced that the cast will be taking part in a 'Talks at Google' event which will be broadcast live tomorrow. He writes:

Lynne was joined onstage by some of New York's finest talent for a fun-filled evening of her blend of pop, R&B, swing and musical theatre. Virginia's Signature Theatre presents the world premiere musical Beaches, opening tonight, March 4, 2014, and playing through March 30.
