Jeremy Schonfeld hosts and participates in Birdland's first ever SONGWRITER CIRCLE on March 13th. The evening features today's most talented writers and performers both on and off-Broadway, including award winning composer/lyricists Neil Berg, Paul Scott Goodman, and the songwriting team of Selda Sahin and Derek Gregor. Doors open at 5:00pm and the show begins at 7:00pm at Birdland Jazz Club (315 West 44th St).

This intimate night of music gives each writer the chance to tell audiences the stories behind the stories, giving the listener a 'peak behind the curtain.' Surprises are always in store when you have a group of songwriters sharing the stage simultaneously and swapping songs - set lists change, a harmony is added here and there, and group participation may break out at any given moment!

Each writer is responsible for bringing a special guest performer to the stage. Some of those special guests are Gabe Violett most recently seen on The Voice, Rita Harvey seen in Next to Normal and Fun Home, Brook Wood, Max Sangerman, Natalie Douglas, Lynne Shankel, Tess Primack, and Lawrence Clayton.

New songs will be premiered, additional lyrics tested, and audiences will have the opportunity to see their favorite writers perform on one stage. Get your tickets now!
