On the day that a thrilling cast of stars take part in 'Happy Birthday, Harold', a one-off charity gala celebrating the life and work of Harold Pinter, the Jamie Lloyd Company continue their commitment to accessible theatre by releasing 10,000 tickets priced at £10 for their landmark Pinter at the Pinter season.

First performed at the Royal Court in 2009, Mike Bartlett's play Cock has been revived as part of the Chichester Festival season at the Minerva Theatre, following on from Michael Frayn's Copenhagen. Despite being written almost a decade ago, the themes of this play are arguably more relevant now than they ever have been, so this revival could not have been timed much better.

In what promises to be an exciting event within the Pinter at the Pinter season, Lee Evans will appear in an eclectic mixed bill alongside stage and screen favourite Meera Syal. They join the previously announced Keith Allen and Tamsin Greig from 25th October to 8th December, for 23 performances only.

Three of the UK's most exciting young actors - Luke Thallon, Matthew Needham and Isabella Laughland - will appear in Kate Hewitt's new production of Mike Bartlett's COCK, which will play in the round at Chichester's Minerva Theatre from 28 September - 27 October. The Young Vic Theatre announced the cast of its upcoming production of The Inheritance on Twitter today. Andrew Burnap and John Benjamin Hickey will play the roles of Toby and Henry respectively, whilst Samuel H. Levine and Kyle Soller will join them in the roles of Adam/Leo and Eric. Evening Standard has revealed its shortlist for the Evening Standard Theatre Awards 2017. There are now three stars competing for each award. 19 students from drama schools across the UK were today awarded £67,500 worth of bursaries by Society of London Theatre (SOLT) in order to help them complete their training. The Clothworkers' Foundation bursary is worth a total of £37,500 over five years with £7,500 awarded to a student annually as part of the Laurence Olivier Bursaries scheme.
