Waitress today announces a new pie partnership with London bakery Bread Ahead which will be making and selling the show's famous fresh pies each night in association with the original creators, Cute As Cake of New York. Bread Ahead, well known for its Borough Market, Chelsea and Soho bakeries, will be making the delicious Waitress pie jars in apple crumble, chocolate salted caramel and lemon raspberry flavours which will be available to audience members at the Adelphi Theatre. The Waitress pie jars were originally created by Cute As Cake (@cuteascakenyc) for the New York production currently in its 3rd year on Broadway. www.cuteascake.com

London's new smash hit musical comedy Waitress tells the story of Jenna, a waitress and expert pie-maker who dreams of some happiness in her life. When a hot new doctor arrives in town, life gets complicated. With the support of her workmates Becky and Dawn, Jenna overcomes the challenges she faces and finds that laughter, love and friendship can provide the perfect recipe for happiness.

Katharine McPhee - who originated the role of Jenna in the London production of Waitress - has recorded the show's hit ballad She Used To Be Mine which will be released as a single in the run up to her final performance on Saturday 15 June. First heard on Broadway, Sara Bareilles' showstopper has inspired countless covers by all sexes and ages across the world, performed by well-known theatrical stars and musicians to young viral sensations. Rehearsal photography of new Waitress stars Ashley Roberts (Dawn), and Lucie Jones (Jenna) have been released today. The new cast, including Blake Harrison (Ogie) as recently announced, will join the company on 17 June.

It is announced today that British television star Blake Harrison, best known for playing Neil Sutherland in the BAFTA-winning E4 comedy The Inbetweeners, will join the cast of Waitress as Ogie from 17 June. He will take over the role from Jack McBrayer, as previously seen as Kenneth in NBC's 30 Rock, who will mark his final performance on Saturday 15 June.

Marisha Wallace moved to the UK to take on the role of Effie White in Dreamgirls at the Savoy Theatre. She is currently playing the role of Becky in Waitress at the Adelphi Theatre. Marisha spoke to BroadwayWorld about the show and the new cast additions.

Ashley Roberts is a former member of the Pussycat Dolls and Strictly Come Dancing 2018 finalist. She is now preparing to make her West End debut in Waitress, playing the role of Dawn. Ashley spoke to BroadwayWorld about joining the cast.

Lucie Jones is known for her roles in the Legally Blonde UK Tour, Les Miserables and most recently, LMTO's Girlfriends. She recently made her debut in the lead role of Waitress and will officially take over from Katherine McPhee on 17 June. She spoke to BroadwayWorld about joining the cast as Jenna.

It is also confirmed that Lucie Jones (Rent, Les Miserables, Legally Blonde) will take over the role of Jenna from this date.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that UK star Lucie Jones will soon join the cast of Waitress on Broadway as Jenna. Sara Bareilles and Tony Award winner Gavin Creel just played their final show as Jenna and Dr. Pomatter, yesterday, February 3.

Yesterday, Carole King attended the matinee of Waitress, and posed backstage with the shows current stars, Sara Bareilles and Gavin Creel, along with the rest of the cast!

The performance itself is as a live concert rather than a fully costumed and set production, allowing actors to focus on the delivery of the score, bringing the music to life in a way that other productions cannot.
