Barry Anderson and Mark Petty, the transatlantic songwriting duo known as Anderson & Petty, will be releasing their debut songbook album entitled 'You Are Home: The Songs of Anderson & Petty' on December 16th. Anderson & Petty co-produced the album with Dennis Michael Keefe of the record label Great White Wax. The album will be available digitally worldwide via Amazon and iTunes and as a physical release via Amazon.com.
Billy Porter, this year's Tony Award-winner for Best Actor in a Musical, has extended his contract in Kinky Boots, producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today; Porter will remain with the show at least through July 2014. They also announced that Natalie Joy Johnson (Legally Blonde) will join the cast of the smash hit musical, taking over for Tory Ross on December 23, 2013.
The 2013 theatre season brought some truly extraordinary productions, including Kinky Boots, which is still playing at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. The musical earned 13 Tony nominations, taking home six awards- including Best Musical.

The cast also includes cabaret and Broadway veterans Trent Armand Kendall (Broadway's Smokey Joe's Cafe, Into the Woods),Award-winning vocal group Marquee 5, T. Oliver Reid (Broadway's Sister Act, The Color Purple), Julie Reyburn(MAC/Bistro/Nightlife Award winner) and Lucia Spina (Broadway's Kinky Boots, South Pacific). Sondheim Unpluggedis hosted by 54 Below's Director of Original Programming, Phil Geoffrey Bond, with Musical Direction by Joe Goodman. In 2011, Sondheim Unplugged received the 2011 Bistro Award for Outstanding Cabaret Series, and was nominated for the 2011 MAC Award.

The Bistro Award-winning series Sondheim Unplugged will return to 54 Below next weekend, tonight, July 28, with a show at 7:00 p.m.
SONDThe latest edition will feature special guests Chip Zien (Into the Woods' original Baker), Sarah Rice (Sweeney Todd's original Johanna), and Terri White (Stella Deems, 2011 Broadway revival of Follies).
SILENCE! THE MUSICAL will end its triumphant two-year run today, July 7th, 2013, at the Elektra Theatre. The production will have played a total of 529 performances and eight previews. Below, BroadwayWorld takes you back through the parody's time off-Broadway!
