Breaking: SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE Will Play Final Off-Broadway Performance Next Month

Producers Steven Baruch, Marc Routh, Richard Frankel and Tom Viertel announced today that Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs of Leiber & Stoller, the all-new incarnation of the record breaking Broadway hit, will close on Sunday, November 4, 2018. The show will have played 20 previews and 121 performances at Stage 42 (422 West 42nd Street). Previews began on Friday, July 6 and the production officially opened on Sunday, July 22.

Arts And Education Council Awards $40,000 In 2018-2019 PNC Program Grants

The Arts and Education Council (A&E) has awarded $40,000 in 2018-2019 PNC Program Grants to 11 organizations in the bi-state region for arts and arts education programs to address the community's needs. The grants, which range from $2,500 to $5,000 per organization, are generously underwritten by the PNC Foundation.

SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE Announces Digital Rush and Ticket Lottery

Performances for Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs of Leiber & Stoller begin tonight, Friday, July 6 at Stage 42 and today the producers announced the Digital Lottery and Rush policy. Tickets for both the digital lottery and rush tickets will be $30 which includes the facility fee.

Casting Announced for St. Louis STAGES 2017 Season

STAGES St. Louis is proud to announce casting for its blockbuster 31st Season: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, 9 to 5, The Musical, and South Pacific. According to Artistic Director Michael Hamilton, this season's exceptional talent "explores the triumphant powers of family, friendship, loyalty, and community in an ever challenging world." Stages Adds Special Matinee Performance to Grand Finale of 30th Anniversary Season

A conscious effort to meet patron demand, this extra show marks the first additional matinee STAGES has put on in its 30 year history.
