Hollywood, CA -- The Hollywood Museum, the official museum of Hollywood located in the Historic Max Factor Building, rings in the holidays with 'Lights, Camera, 'Holly'- wood,' a unique tribute to the holidays - Hollywood Style. The holiday trees and extensive tinsel town decor are created by Dr. Christmas (Bob Pranga and Debi Staron), known as the celebrity holiday and special event designers to the stars. The exhibit will be on display through January 5, 2014.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will examine the technology behind 'It's a Wonderful Life' on Monday, December 12 at 7 p.m. at the Academy Theater at Lighthouse International in New York City. Special guest Craig Barron, Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor, will discuss studio production methods of the era, the use of matte paintings in key scenes, and the origins of the film's sound effects. The program will also include a special introduction by Karolyn Grimes, who played Zuzu Bailey in the film, marking the first time she will present the film in New York City.

Patrick Cassidy to Bring Father Jack to Life in New Show

Michael Riedel reports in the New York Post this morning that Patrick Cassidy is at work on a new piece about his father, the late musical actor Jack Cassidy, who died in an accidental fire at the age of 49. The younger Cassidy is developing a one-man show about Jack, with the help of some of Jack's old friends, including Hal Prince and John McMartin.
