I imagine Richard Skipper must approach his embodiment of Carol Channing a bit differently than most successful female celebrity impersonators. When doing Barbra or Eartha or Ethel there are certain idiosyncrasies one can latch onto and exaggerate as punch lines. On Sunday, Sept 6th, the Altadena Community Church (ACC) was honored and pleased to present Miss Carol Channing in a very special, one-night-only, benefit concert. Channing graciously offered to lend her support when she learned that the 70-year-old landmark church was in dire need of a new roof and repairs to their original stained glass windows.
