Two of Broadway's most endearing leading ladies-Andrea McArdle and Donna McKechnie-celebrate two of America's most beloved musical theatre composers-Stephen Sondheim and Marvin Hamlisch-at Feinstein's at the Nikko on Friday, January 18 (8 p.m.) and Saturday, January 19 (8 p.m.).

The Ride of Fame, a continuing worldwide series of mobile monuments dedicated to public figures highlighting New York City, as well as their respective cities, business and personal endeavors now in its eighth year, will honor America's Got Talent 2018 Winner and current Broadway star of The Illusionists, Shin Lim with his very own seat on a double-decker bus as an imminent dedicatee into the Ride of Fame where Shin may just perform his greatest card trick yet.

BroadwayWorld reported last week the additional cast that will appear in Fosse/Verdon, an eight episode limited series from award-winning producers Thomas Kail, Steven Levenson, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Joel Fields. Production on the series, now officially titled Fosse/Verdon, is currently underway in New York City ahead of its premiere on FX in Spring 2019.

New Jersey native and celebrity portrait photographer Timothy White has been honored with a nomination for the 2018 New Jersey Hall of Fame Awards. 

Deborah Grace Winer was certainly on the right track last night as she hosted her latest creative musical adventure 'New York: Big City Songbook' at the new Birdland Theater. Deborah is well known to New Yorkers for the imaginative and quality presentations she produced for the Lyrics & Lyricists Series at the 92Y, which she led for 9 seasons. It's difficult to construct a show for New Yorkers about New York, we've seen it all…haven't we? but this smart show with vocalists Klea Blackhurst, La Tanya Hall and Nicolas King (real New Yorkers because as Deborah pointed out they come from everywhere) offered a kaleidoscopic vision of life in the city.

Before heading to the movie theater to see Bohemian Rhapsody, the new biopic about Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, check out this video of Liza Minnelli and the remaining members of the band performing 'We Are the Champions' at a Freddie Mercury tribute concert in 1992. Queen guitarist Brian May introduces Liza Minnelli as, 'one person in the world that Freddie would be very proud to have stand in his footsteps tonight.'

Paper Mill Playhouse will present 'Holiday Inn' from November 21 through December 30. This spectacular musical has a book by Gordon Greenberg and Chad Hodge; choreography by Denis Jones; direction by Gordon Greenberg; and musical direction by Shawn Gough. Following a series of successful sold out performances, the highly popular, multi-faceted musical artist and Broadway performer Cortes Alexander ("Marilyn: An American Fable", "Liza's at the Palace") brings his annual Holiday Christmas Show back to Los Angeles' prized venue, Upstairs at Vitello's, on Monday, December 17.

Salty Brine announces a new cabaret-theater hybrid, You'll Never Get to Heaven, as the latest installment in his series, The Living Record Collection. You'll Never Get to Heaven is inspired by Laura Nyro's Eli and the Thirteenth Confession. The show will perform at Pangea (178 2nd Avenue) on November 29 and December 13. Doors will open at 6:00pm with shows beginning at 7:00pm on both dates.

Michael West (When Pigs Fly, Forbidden Broadway, NEWSical) is set to take the Green Room 42 stage this month as he stars as Ken Boisinger in "Ken Boisinger - Tonight I'm Gonna Sing For You". The show will also feature the musical stylings of The Ken Boisinger Trio under the direction of Alan Bukowiecki.

 Audiences are thoroughly enjoying themselves at Bucks County Playhouse's production of Broadway's hilarious romantic comedy "I Hate Hamlet." The production, which runs through December 1 and was hailed by The New York Times as "Unapologetically silly…hilarious!" is directed by Marc Bruni ("Beautiful: The Carol King Musical").

To kick off its 18th season, Uptown Players will present the world premiere of A Very Judy Christmas. Written and directed by B.J. Cleveland, the production runs December 1-16, 2018 at the Kalita Humphreys Theater, and marks the return of  Janelle Lutz as Judy Garland.

LA's own Impro Theatre will perform this holiday season from the Valley to the ocean with two of their highly-acclaimed shows: 1966 Holiday Variety Extravaganza at Garry Marshall Theatre (November 30 - December 9) and Jane Austen UnScripted at The Edye at The Broad Stage (December 14 - 22). Impro Theatre incorporates audience suggestions to create completely improvised, full-length shows in each style.

Bucks County Playhouse's Storytelling Series continues this month and features Jamie Beth Cohan, a Washington Post writer, Rory Scholl, the producer of The Liar Show and James Braly, a two-time winner of The Moth GrandSlam.
