Salty Brine announces a new cabaret-theater hybrid, You'll Never Get to Heaven, as the latest installment in his series, The Living Record Collection. You'll Never Get to Heaven is inspired by Laura Nyro's Eli and the Thirteenth Confession. The show will perform at Pangea (178 2nd Avenue) on November 29 and December 13. Doors will open at 6:00pm with shows beginning at 7:00pm on both dates.
Amphitheaters, prostitutes, household gods, and one very naughty saint. Ancient Rome springs to life when award-winning cabaret artist Salty Brine reimagines Laura Nyro's stunning masterpiece Eli and the Thirteenth Confession in the latest installment of The Living Record Collection.
You'll Never Get to Heaven, created and performed by Salty Brine, is directed by Andrew Neisler with arrangements by Ellen Winter. The show features costume design by Heather McDevitt-Barton and production design by Christopher Bowser.

Salty Brine is a New York-based actor, playwright, and Bistro award-winning cabaret artist. He is the creative force behind The Living Record Collection, a series of cabaret performances built around popular albums. Time Out New York has called him "the love child of a Paul Lynde, Liza Minnelli and Joel Grey in Cabaret threeway". NY Credits: Clown Bar (Pipeline, The Box), How Did I Get Here?
