Don't Tell Mama brings New Generation Theater Company's 'Top Hat, White Tie and Tails: A Celebration of The American Songbook' to New York City for a one night only engagement. This production features selections from the canon of the most important and influential jazz standards from the early 20th century. This night will feature songs made famous by composers such as Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Richard Rogers and more. Following a ten-month national search, Pioneer Theatre Company announced today that Christopher Massimine will join the company on July 1, 2019 as the theatre's managing director.

Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New York City" star Countess Luann de Lesseps will bring #COUNTESSANDFRIENDS to the Terry Fator Theatre Saturday, May 4 at 8 p.m. The show is filled with hilarious stories, one-of-a-kind anecdotes and songs in her inimitable style. Birdland mainstays Jim Caruso & Billy Stritch have returned to Birdland Theater with "The Sunday Set," an evening of swinging standards and a few tunes that are hard to categorize! The dynamic duo has one more concert, on Sunday, February 17, with a show at 7:30pm. Bassist Steve Doyle joins the duo.

At 86, Chita Rivera could easily justify putting her feet up a little. She first performed in London back in 1958 in the iconic role of Anita in West Side Story and has never stopped since. She returned to the capital this weekend for two one-off concerts, chronicling her life and amazing career. The word legend is overused these days, but Rivera can truly justify the title. She has been nominated 10 times for a Tony Award, which is the joint record for number of nominations. In 1984 she starred in The Rink with Liza Minnelli and won her first (of two) Tony Award for her role as Anna and in 2018 she received the Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre.

Cathy Mundy as Momma Rose creates a faceted character with depth, backstory and motivation. The Ensemble is full of experienced leading men and women who blend beautifully and as Louise, MaryKate Brouillet manages to look about fourteen years old for most of the show before her Act II transformation. Full of catchy tunes, powerhouse vocalists, lively choreography and adorable children, Toby's Dinner Theatre in Columbia's production of GYPSY is an impressive crowd-pleaser.

Tony Award Winner (JEROME ROBBINS' BROADWAY), Debbie Gravitte is one of Broadway's biggest personalities and she is coming to downtown Milford, CT on Saturday, March 2nd at 8pm for the MAC's Nite Spot Night series in Debbie Gravitte: Live and In Person. This series is produced  in partnership with Pantochino Productions, and all performances are presented at The MAC, located at 40 Railroad Avenue South, Milford, CT. Debbie Gravitte: Live and In Person features Russ Kassoff, jazz pianist, composer, arranger, conductor and more. The duo will perform a collection of songs from Broadway to Big Band.

HB Studio, one of New York's original acting studios, has announced UTA HAGEN at 100, a series of special events and workshops celebrating the centenary of its master teacher, the legendary actress and activist Uta Hagen. UTA HAGEN at 100, honoring the three-time Tony Award winning actress and her legacy as a pioneering theater artist, activist and master teacher of HB Studio, will kick off on Monday, February 25 with a series of centennial events. The celebration will culminate on Monday, June 10 with a centennial gala honoring the actress, whose 100th birthday is Wednesday, June 12.

For years Richmond has been host to a number of celebrated singers and their successful cabaret acts. Now Swift Creek Mill is inviting these entertainers to grace its Historic Mill Room for "Cabaret Nights" of song, laughter, and good eats.

Vineyard Theatre announced that the 2019 Gala fundraiser will celebrate Tony, Olivier, Drama Desk, and Drama League Award nominated artist and Vineyard Board Member, Colman Domingo. The annual benefit Gala will take place on Monday, May 6, 2019, beginning at 6:30pm at Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street).
