The New York Philharmonic will bring its Credit Suisse Very Young Composers program to Vail for the sixth season, from July 16-25, during the Orchestra's residency with Bravo! Vail. The Very Young Composers of Vail - a project of the New York Philharmonic in collaboration with Bravo! Vail - will include a series of workshops for children ages 9-13, including demonstrations with Philharmonic musicians, culminating in two concerts of original works created and orchestrated by the young composers and performed by musicians from the Philharmonic. The performances, free and open to the public, will take place at the Vail Public Library on Thursday, July 24 and the Avon Public Library on Friday, July 25, both at 2:00 p.m.
