On a secluded Greek island, an American ex-pat pursues his passions: winemaking and his breathtaking young wife. Then, on the eve of his first tasting, an old lover reappears bringing with her a wild and violent past. Circle X Theatre Co. presents the Debut Production of Lascivious Something by Sheila Callaghan. Paul Willis directs Alana Dietze, Olivia Henry, Silas Weir Mitchell and Alina Phelan in a six-week run opening March 27 at [Inside] the Ford. Low-priced previews begin March 18.

Denis O'Hare's AN ILIAD to be Staged at Portland Center, 9/28-11/21

Broadway actor Denis O'Hare's An Iliad will play the Portland Center Stage as part of its new season. The production will run at the Ellyn Bye Studio of the Portland, Oregon theater from September 28 to November 21, 2010.

Hartford Stage's production of 'Motherhood Out Loud' is a collection of 15 pieces by 16 writers on the subject of motherhood. The show is directed by Lisa Peterson and features Amy Irving, Amy Irving, James Lecesne, and April Yvette Thompson. In an interview with Frank Rizzo of the Hartford Courant, Amy Irving discusses her own experiences with motherhood and reflects on her family growing up as daughter of theatrical director and producer Jules Irving and actress Priscilla Pointer.

Palestine, New Mexico celebrated it's opening night on Sunday, December 13 at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. Written by Richard Montoya for Culture Clash and directed by Lisa Peterson, Palestine, New Mexico is set on an American Indian reservation in the Southwest, and follows the fate of Army Captain Siler who has returned from Iraq with a secret she just can't hold on to any more. She is determined to set the record straight about the death of the tribal chief's son, but she discovers she is considered a dangerous outsider rather than a messenger of truth. In the battle to tell her story she unleashes far more history than anyone wanted to hear, or tell.
