The Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Dr. in Lincolnshire, is proud to bring the Victorian streets of London live to Lincolnshire with Lionel Bart's OLIVER!, previewing Wednesday, October 30th, opening Wednesday, November 6th at 7:30 p.m., and closing Sunday, December 29th. The Tony Award-winning musical based on the classic Charles Dickens novel, Oliver Twist, is directed by eight-time Jeff Award winner for Outstanding Direction, Nick Bowling, with musical direction by Jeff Award winner Ryan T. Nelson and choreography by Jeff Award winner Brenda Didier.

New Repertory Theatre presents Oliver!, the classic, intergenerational musical by Lionel Bart is based on Charles Dickens' famous novel, Oliver Twist. Appropriate for all generations of theatre-goers, this timely story brings to light the importance of friendship and caring for one another when the world is set against you from the very beginning. Directed and choreographed by Michael J. Bobbitt, the new Artistic Director of New Rep. The production runs November 29 through December 29, 2019 in the MainStage Theater at the Mosesian Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA. The Opera in Gothenburg has chosen Lionel Bart's musical Oliver! based on Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist as the musical for the season 2019/2020. The opening night was the 14th of September and it will run till the 26th of April 2020.

Oliver! is soon to be presented by Orleans' very own Elements Theatre Company. The beloved musical, which originally premiered in London in 1960, now has yet another chance to warm our hearts by bringing this young orphan from Victorian England to a Cape Cod stage.

The Goodspeed Kids Company Academy is the perfect way for students ages 7 to 18 to hone their musical theatre performance skills all in one place. Academy classes will be taught by professional teaching artists who share Goodspeed's passion for arts education and an enthusiasm for working with young performers - cultivating the next generation of musical theatre artists. With weekly classes in acting, vocal performance, dance, and musical theatre performance, young performers will gain all the skills they need in order to succeed in auditions, rehearsals, and performances. Each semester will culminate in an informal studio showcase for family, friends, and the Goodspeed community.

Today's subjects Dana P. Rowe and John Dempsey are currently living their theatre lives as the writing team for the excellent swashbuckling World Premiere Musical Blackbeard at Signature Theatre. The production runs through July 14th in the MAX.

Emma Rice's Wise Children company return with Enid Blyton's Malory Towers in York Theatre Royal's autumn-winter season, which also features new productions of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge and Athol Fugard's Hello and Goodbye.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - has announced that acclaimed singer and songwriter SPENCER DAY will conclude the first season of his celebrated year-long residency at the club on Friday, June 21 at 7:00 PM. Spencer, the unique #1 Billboard charting popjazz performer, has appeared at venues from Lincoln Center to the Hollywood Bowl.

The OBC Theater, in Corona, has a winner in its rollicking production of OLIVER. It is a bit of a schlep from the Coachella Valley, but it's worth the trip to see the imaginative choreography and adept acting, to hear the lovely singing from adults and children alike, and to marvel at the clever costumes and scenery.

The Broadway classic, Oliver! will run at South Bend Civic Theatre July 12-28.

Welcome to Sunpocalypse.  So far, this Atlanta summer is 100-in-the-shade.  Basically, we're all human-sized Marios running from the evil sun and hoping for a brief respite via some magical pipe that takes you to a cool underground cavern where there's lots of unprotected gold.  Luckily, our favorite Atlanta stages have offered up a lot of great summer theatre, so at least we have something cool to look forward to.   

Now in its eleventh consecutive year, the multi-award-winning Finborough Theatre presents Vibrant 2019 A Festival of Finborough Playwrights, its annual explosion of new writing, running between 16 June-4 July 2019.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 Broadway's newest intimate concert venue has announced that acclaimed singer and songwriter SPENCER DAY will welcome jazz vocalist and songwriter Gabrielle Stravelli as special musical guest for his show on Friday, May 17 at 7:00 PM. Spencer will continue his string of packed shows and critical raves on Friday, June 21, which will conclude the season of his residency. The unique #1 Billboard charting pop/jazz performer who has appeared at venues from Lincoln Center to the Hollywood Bowl is headlining regular performances at the club, providing him with an opportunity to showcase his humor as well his diverse and eclectic original songs. The shows will include material from his recent album Angel City and a preview of his upcoming Broadway-based collection of Rodgers & Hammerstein ( Bali Ha'i ), Lionel Bart ( Who Will Buy ), Jerry Herman ( It Only Takes a Moment ) and more.
