After a brilliant sold-out world premiere, Producers are thrilled to announce that due to popular demand, The Album Project: + has added another performance of this music-driven series on April 26th, 2014 at 8PM at Rockwell: Table & Stage, one of Los Angeles' premiere live music and performance venues.
After more than three years in Los Feliz, the live musicimmersive concert experience 'For The Record' will move to a larger home in West Hollywood, DBA (www.dbahollywood.com). Beginning March 27, the hit series will make their debut in this new, next level performance space that is hosting the most vital and relevant live music, DJ's, performance art, spoken word and theatrical events. 'For The Record: Tarantino' at DBA will offer audiences an elevated and completely reimagined production of the show that inspired the series as a whole. The show will run every Thursday - Sunday at 8:00 p.m with tickets ranging from $35 - $55, and can be purchased at DBAHollywood.com. After multiple sold out shows in NY, musical pop songwriter Joey Contreras takes on L.A. for his West Coast concert debut on February 10th. Students at the Young Actors' Theatre Camp (YATC) will be acting, singing and dancing their way through their winter holiday break as stars from stage and screen come to teach students attending the Young Actors' Theatre Camp, taking place December 28, 2013 - January 3, 2014. Teachers scheduled for the Winter Camp include: John Ainsworth ('American Horror Story'), Daniel Dreifuss (Oscar-nominated producer, 'No'), Emmy Frevele (Los Angeles-based choreographer), Sarah Gaboury ('Parks and Recreation'), Kevin Kent (Emcee from Teatro Zinzanni), Matt Pittenger ('Community'), Meghan Rienks (YouTube sensation; former YATC camper), Shawn Ryan ('The Mentalist,' 'America's Got Talent') and cast members from The Book of Mormon, currently playing at San Francisco's Orpheum Theatre. Your evening begins with a three-course prix fixe dinner created by chefs Wayne Elias and Martin Gonzalez, followed by a performance of Rockwell's acclaimed For the Record: Baz Luhrmann, where powerhouse performers from music, stage and screen fill the space around you with iconic music and moments from Moulin Rouge, Romeo + Juliet, Strictly Ballroom and The Great Gatsby.
