Ovation, the only television network devoted to artists and every kind of artistic expression, will usher in the holiday season with programming celebrating theater and dance. On Thanksgiving night, Ovation will present an Ovation Original documentary special, A SNOW WHITE CHRISTMAS: OPENING NIGHT, which takes viewers behind- the-curtain for the Lythgoe Family's (American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance) quest to bring the entertaining and cheerful British "panto" musical theater tradition to American audiences for the first time. Ovation then kicks off its sixth annual programming event, "BATTLE OF THE NUTCRACKERS," featuring stunning Nutcracker productions and a chance for viewers to vote on their favorites. The popular programming event will now air for a month on Sunday afternoons in a celebration the entire family can enjoy together.

As first reported in The Hollywood Reporter, GLEE star Kevin McHale will make a return appearance on the Oxygen's reality series THE GLEE PROJECT. The actor will serve as a mentor on tonight's July 3 episode which focuses on 'Adaptablility.'

According to The Hollywood Reporter, GLEE cast members Cory Monteith, Naya Rivera and newcomer Samuel Larsen will be appearing in the upcoming season of Oxygen's THE GLEE PROJECT in the role of mentors.

Third Street Theatre, the West Hollywood 99-seat Equity Waiver theatre that brought LA the critically-acclaimed smash hit Falsettos, presents three limited engagement fundraising gala performances of The Last Five Years by Jason Robert Brown tonight, May 4th, tomorrow May 5th and Sunday, May 6th. Each night will bring audiences a fresh mix of Broadway, film and television talent with hosts Jane Lynch, William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman, and a cast that includes Tracie Thoms (Rent), Shoshana Bean (Wicked), Lindsay Pearce (The Glee Project) and Chase Williamson (Spring Awakening). Every performance will be immediately followed by a catered reception and a hosted wine bar.

A previously announced event at the Gallo Center for the Arts has taken on added star power with the news that performers from the Fox Television hit "Glee" will be appearing. The television show's casting director Robert Ulrich of Modesto, and his wife, actress Kim Johnston-Ulrich of Ripon, are to be honored in April at a "Hometown Heroes" event, a continuing series at the Gallo Center that salutes area residents who have achieved national success in their fields.

Third Street Theatre has added a host and 3 new cast members to its gala performance of The Last Five Years by Jason Robert Brown on May 4th, 5th and 6th. Just before the airing of the final episodes of the hit show, The Closer, Tony nominee Corey Reynolds (Hairspray) will host on Saturday May 5th. Added to the cast are Janelle Lynn Randall (Boardwalk Empire, All Shook Up), Daniel Tatar (The Company Men, Hairspray) and Allen Hidalgo (Jersey Boys). These actors join hosts Jane Lynch, William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman, as well as cast members Tracie Thoms (Rent), Shoshana Bean (Wicked), Lindsay Pearce (The Glee Project), Chase Williamson (Spring Awakening). When Frank Wedekind wrote Spring Awakening in the late 1800's, he could hardly have imagined that a little over a century later his play would be transformed into a Tony Award-winning rock musical by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater.

Singer/actress Lindsay Heather Pearce--who as a finalist on THE GLEE PROJECT won a two-episode arc as the bubbly 'Harmony' on GLEE this season--can currently be seen filling the shoes of a different kind of teen: an angst-y, late-19th Century teenager in the L.A. intimate theater premiere of the Tony Award-winning musical SPRING AWAKENING, now playing at the Theatre of Arts Egyptian Arena Stage in Hollywood through April 22. This new production of the rock musical finds Pearce playing Wendla, the very role originated by GLEE's own breakout star Lea Michele. So what's her next challenge?
