The 22nd Annual “Hollywood Film Awards” brought together Hollywood's elite to honor the year's most talked about, and highly anticipated, actors, actresses, films and those who help bring them to life.  The awards ceremony, celebrating its 22nd anniversary as the official launch of the awards season, was hosted by actress and comedian Awkwafina, and took place at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.  In its 22-year history, more than 320 of the world's biggest stars and filmmakers have been highlighted at the “Hollywood Film Awards” and more than 130 of the honorees have gone on to garner Oscar nominations and/or wins. 

dick clark productions announced today that Participant Media and DreamWorks Pictures' Green Book, directed by Peter Farrelly and starring Viggo Mortensen, Mahershala Ali and Linda Cardellini, will receive both the “Hollywood Ensemble Award” and “Hollywood Screenwriter Award” at the 22nd Annual “Hollywood Film Awards,” which will take place on Sunday, November 4 at The Beverly Hilton. The TIFF 2018 People's Choice Award winner is written by Peter Farrelly, Nick Vallelonga and Brian Currie and is inspired by a true friendship that in 1962 transcended race, class and the Mason-Dixon line.

La Llorona.  The Weeping Woman.  A horrifying apparition, caught between Heaven and Hell, trapped in a terrible fate sealed by her own hand.  The mere mention of her name has struck terror around the world for generations.  In life, she drowned her children in a jealous rage, throwing herself in the churning river after them as she wept in pain.  Now her tears are eternal.  They are lethal, and those who hear her death call in the night are doomed.  La Llorona creeps in the shadows and preys on the children, desperate to replace her own.  As the centuries have passed, her desire has grown more voracious…and her methods more terrifying.

'The Girl in the Spider's Web' will premiere at the 13th Rome Film Fest. The festival's opening night film will be 'Bad Times at the El Royale.' Anna Kendrick, Blake Lively, and Director Paul Feig try to pitch A Simple Favor to movie execs Thomas Lennon and Annaleigh Ashford and things get complicated. A Simple Favor, in theaters September 14, stars Anna Kendrick, Blake Lively, Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, Linda Cardellini, Jean Smart, and Rupert Friend.

The European Premiere of director Peter Farrelly's drama GREEN BOOK, from Participant Media and DreamWorks Pictures, will open the 14th Zurich Film Festival on 27 September 2018. Farrelly and Academy Award® nominee Viggo Mortensen (EASTERN PROMISES, THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY) will attend as the Zurich Film Festival's honored guests.

Academy Award® nominee Viggo Mortensen (Eastern Promises, The Lord of the Rings trilogy) and Academy Award® winner Mahershala Ali (Moonlight, Hidden Figures) star in Participant Media and DreamWorks Pictures' Green Book.  In his foray into powerfully dramatic work as a feature director, Peter Farrelly helms the film inspired by a true friendship that transcended race, class and the 1962 Mason-Dixon line.

Linda Cardellini returns to Netflix in Dead to Me, which co-stars Christina Applegate. According to Deadline, the show is a half-hour dark comedy series from writer Liz Feldman, Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's Gloria Sanchez Prods. and CBS TV Studios. Cardellini will also produce the series.

Deep under the Arctic Ocean, American submarine Captain Joe Glass (Gerard Butler, Olympus Has Fallen, 300) is on the hunt for a U.S. sub in distress when he discovers a secret Russian coup is in the offing, threatening to dismantle the world order. With crew and country on the line, Captain Glass must now assemble an elite group of Navy SEALs to rescue the kidnapped Russian president and sneak through enemy waters to stop WWIII.

A&E Network presents a Biography(R) limited original series, 'Cultureshock.' Sebastian Maniscalco has added another date to his "Stay Hungry" international tour stop at Mohegan Sun Arena. The comedy star will now be live in the Arena for back-to-back 8:00pm shows slated for Friday, November 2nd and Saturday, November 3rd.

On the heels of a wildly successful start to 2018, comedian, actor, author Sebastian Maniscalco kicks off the fall leg of his blockbuster 'Stay Hungry' international tour.  The tour will make its way across the U.S. and Canada with stops in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Vancouver and Calgary. Maniscalco recently wrapped the spring leg of his tour with five sold-out shows at New York's iconic Radio City Music Hall.

BRON announced today that Grammy-nominated producer/rapper El-P (of Run The Jewels) has signed on to compose the original score for the Al Capone bio-pic Fonzo, written and directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle). The film's cast includes Academy Award®nominee Tom Hardy, Linda Cardellini, Jack Lowden, Academy Award nominee Matt Dillon, and Golden Globe® winner Kyle MacLachlan.
