Novo Amor, aka Ali Lacey, has announced a string of headline tour dates for the fall season in U.S. and Canada following the European leg of his tour, all in support of his debut full-length album Birthplace, out October 19 via AllPoints. Tickets for the U.S./Canada dates go on sale to the public Friday, July 27 at 10:00am local time and can be purchased at novoamor.co.uk.

Soccer Mommy - twenty-one old Nashville native Sophie Allison – released her debut albumClean earlier this year to critical acclaim, and today she shares the music video for fan-favorite “Scorpio Rising.” “I wanted the video for 'Scorpio Rising' to be a bit celestial,” explains Allison of the Jonny Look-directed video. “The whole idea of laying out in a park in the middle of the summer while looking at the stars holds a significance to me, so I wanted to capture that feeling. I think there's also a sense of isolation shown in the video that reflects both the song and the headspace I was in while writing Clean.”

Sister Sparrow has announced the release of her eagerly awaited new album. GOLD arrives at all music retailers and streaming services via Thirty Tigers on Friday, October 12th. Glassnote Records in association with UROK Management presents Something American—the new mini-documentary from rising singer and songwriter Jade Bird. The Austin Roa-directed (Robert DeLong, Oberhofer) documentary follows Jade on tour from Austin, TX to Indio, California this past April, supporting her 2017 debut EP of the same name. The footage takes a look behind the scenes and shines a light on Jade's personality, while showcasing live performances and life on the road.

Today, Saintseneca has announced a new album titled Pillar of Na, with its glistening lead single, 'Frostbiter.' NPR, who premiered the song on the All Songs Considered blog, is saying 'For Saintseneca, fatalistic gloom blends seamlessly with a kind of playful sprightliness: Zac Little's songs often simmer in a sad swirl of death and esoterica, but his deadpan ruminations are buoyed by the sounds of exotic instruments, candy-colored pop hooks and many points in between.'

After a six-year hiatus, beloved Chicago indie-rock outfit Maps & Atlases return today with their new album Lightlessness Is Nothing New, out on their longtime label Barsuk Records. 'Produced by experimental-indie veteran Scott Solter (The Mountain Goats, John Vanderslice, Okkervil River), the record reveals a dynamic reboot of the band's signature math rock sound; its infusion of lively synth pop sounds reflects frontman Dave Davison's quest to confront his anxiety and grief over the death of his father with optimism and hope for a brighter day.

Following the release of her now critically acclaimed and highly streamed debut EP “diary 001,” which dropped last Friday, 19-year-old Clairo has announced today that she will be hitting the road for a North American headlining tour this summer. Starting on July 17, Clairo and her band will be performing at Chicago's Lincoln Hall, then will making 18 more stops across the country, including appearances at Mo Pop Festival in Detroit and Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago.

Today, LA-based artist morgxn announces a 22-date fall tour with the rock trio Dreamers. The month-long tour starts on September 13th in San Diego and will go through Texas, Florida, visit both East and West coasts, and go via Chicago to end in Kansas on October 10th.

Chicago's Maps & Atlases are ending their six-year hiatus, returning with their third full-length Lightlessness Is Nothing New on June 1 on Barsuk Records, and today the band shared a new single, 'Ringing Bell.' Brooklyn Vegan premiered the track -- via a lyric video created by the band's drummer Christopher Hainey -- today, saying, 'Ringing Bell' still sounds like classic Maps & Atlases but also sees them going in a more danceable pop direction with more electronics in the mix.'
