Ripe Time Premieres Haruki Murakami's SLEEP in Philadelphia

Sleep will make its world premiere, October 27-28, at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Pennsylvania and will have its New York premiere at BAM Fisher as part of the 2017 Next Wave Festival, November 29 - December 2.

Review Roundup: Zoe Kazan's AFTER THE BLAST at LCT3

Eboni Booth, Will Connolly, William Jackson Harper, Ben Horner, Cristin Milioti, David Pegram, and Teresa Yenque comprise the cast of the LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater production of After the Blast, a new play by Zoe Kazan, directed by Lila Neugebauer. AFTER THE BLAST will run for six weeks only through Sunday, November 19 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Pegasus Theatre Company Announces Cast for the Return of SHAKIN' THE MESS OUTTA MISERY

Pegasus Theatre Chicago is proud to announce the first production in its 2017 2018 season, Legacies, Shakin' the Mess Outta Misery, written by Shay Youngblood and directed by Pegasus Theatre Chicago's Producing Artistic Director Ilesa Duncan, with music direction by Shawn Wallace and choreography by Nicole Clarke-Springer, November 8 December 10, at Chicago Dramatists, 773 N. Yale Rep to Present Nambi E. Kelley's Stage Adaptation of NATIVE SON

Yale Repertory Theatre presents NATIVE SON, the critically acclaimed new play by Nambi E. Kelley adapted from the iconic American novel by Richard Wright, directed by Seret Scott, November 24 December 16 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). Opening Night is Thursday, November 30.

Berkeley Rep Presents Hellman's WATCH ON THE RHINE

Berkeley Repertory Theatre presents Watch on the Rhine, Lillian Hellman's 1940s political thriller about loyalty, family, and sacrifice. The play, directed by Berkeley Rep's associate director Lisa Peterson, begins previews on Thursday, November 30, 2017 and runs through Sunday, January 14, 2018. Douglas Carter Beane's TO WONG FOO Musical Will Get Readings This November

Twenty-two years ago a struggling playwright wrote his first screenplay as a writing sample. It ended up being produced by Steven Spielberg, filmed with an all-star cast and became the #1 movie in America as well as a ground breaking LGBTQ film and a cult favorite with a large and devoted following. Five time Tony nominated playwright Douglas Carter Beane returns to his original script of To Won Foo to see if it is stage worthy.
