Producer Mark Cortale has announced that his  acclaimed Broadway @ NOCCA concert series will present Christine Ebersole, two-time Tony Award-winner for Grey Gardens and 42nd Street and star of Oscar-winning films such as Amadeus and Tootsie, on Saturday, December 15 at 8:00 PM

As BroadwayWorld reported in July, the John F. KENNEDY Center for the Performing Arts will present the 2018 KENNEDY CENTER HONORS for lifetime artistic achievements on December 2, and the event will be held with an empty Presidential box for the second year in a row. NBC reports that President Trump and the first lady will not attend the ceremony, which is typically attended by the first couple.

Imagine standing in line for four days in hopes of getting Hamilton tickets, only to find out, when you finally get your shot, you're $20 short? According to NYPD News on Twitter, that's exactly what happened to one fan.

Producer Jeffrey Seller, Shea's Performing Arts Center, and Albert Nocciolino announce a digital lottery for HAMILTON tickets will begin in conjunction with the show's first performance (November 20) in Buffalo at Shea's Buffalo Theatre.  Forty (40) tickets will be sold for every performance for $10 each.  The digital lottery will open at 11:00 AM ET on Sunday, November 18 for tickets to the Tuesday, November 20 performance.  Subsequent digital lotteries will begin two days prior to each performance.  

Julius Thomas III and Donald Webber Jr. will lead the third national tour of HAMILTON as Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr, respectively.

Producer Jeffrey Seller and Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati presented by TriHealth announce today that single tickets for HAMILTON will go on sale to the public on Friday, November 16 at 9 a.m. (ET) at CincinnatiArts.org and in person at the Aronoff Center Ticket Office (650 Walnut Street). Tickets will be available for performances February 19 - March 10, 2019.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network and Hearst Magazines announced today that Oprah Winfrey's in-depth conversation with Michelle Obama about her new memoir Becoming will air as a primetime special “Oprah Winfrey Presents:  Becoming Michelle Obama” on Thursday, November 15 at 8:00 PT/ET on OWN, with an extended unedited version available on “Oprah's SuperSoul Conversations” podcast starting the same day, with part two available on November 19. In addition, the full interview will be streamed on Oprah's Facebook on Sunday, November 18 at 11:00 am ET/PT. The interview will also be featured in O, The Oprah Magazine on newsstands November 20, with behind-the-scenes content available on Oprahmag.com as well as globally across multiple Hearst Magazines' titles, including the December cover of ELLE.

The English adaptation of Jean-Pierre Hadida (Author, Composer & Book) and Alicia Sebrien's (Book) new musical MADIBA THE MUSICAL shares the story of Nelson Mandela's achievements and impact through a captivating blend of music, dance and drawing

Singers from the Black Broadway community have joined together to create a music and mental health album of inspirational cover songs. In just two rehearsals, the Darkness RISING cast recorded an album intended for anyone who lives with anxiety, depression, bipolar, or other mental illnesses. Music has been proven be therapeutic and healing. It can provide emotional support, increase motivation, and offer an outlet for expression of feelings.

Single tickets for HAMILTON will go on sale to the public on Friday, November 16 at 9 a.m. (ET).  Guests are encouraged to purchase online at drphillipscenter.org. Tickets also may be purchased in person at the Dr. Phillips Center. Tickets will be available for performances January 22 - February 10, 2019.
