Constellations Chamber Concerts Presents CELEBRATE

For one night only on Saturday, May 14 at 7:30 pm, Constellations Chamber Concerts presents “Celebrate,” the finale to its 2021-22 concert season. The concert, taking place at 910 Black Lives Matter Plaza (16th Street NW), features performances by a trio of world-renowned guest artists: oboist Toyin Spellman-Diaz and percussionists Javier Diaz and Mike Ramsey, joined by Artistic Director Ellen Hwangbo on piano.

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company’s gala, A MAMMOTH RENAISSANCE, was a night to remember, as more than 350 attendees at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library joined in honoring social activist, political strategist, philanthropist, and modern “Renaissance man” Luis A. Miranda, Jr. More than $565,000 — the most in Woolly’s history — was raised to support its work towards a radically inclusive theatre industry.

Danbury's Musicals At Richter Announces Auditions For IN THE HEIGHTS and THE SOUND OF MUSIC

Musicals at Richter (MAR), celebrating its 38th season as the longest-running outdoor theater in Connecticut, has announced 2022 season auditions for its upcoming productions of 'In the Heights' and 'The Sound of Music.' Auditions will be held Monday through Wednesday, April 18-20 and Friday, April 22 at the Richter House Arts Center.
