Artistic Producer Arkady Spivak announced today the 2017-2018 season. It will feature a forgotten musical theatre masterpiece, a world premiere of a new Canadian play, a re-imagining of a 20th century theatre classic and a site-specific production of a play written, directed and starring Indigenous Canadians.

?Connecticut Repertory Theatre will present Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility by adapted for the stage by Joseph Hanreddy and J.R. Sullivan as the fourth show of its 2015-2016 season. The show is directed by Kristin Wold, a faculty member at UConn and member of Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA.  Sense and Sensibility will be held in the Harriet S. The show has been making headlines lately with the just announced return to Broadway this fall for its first-ever revival in a ground-breaking production from Deaf West Theatre. But this July, Toronto's Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts will offer its own twist on the iconic musical, under the direction of Anne-Marie Donovan and music direction of Lily Ling (music director, John and Jen, Off-Broadway Revival). Spring Awakening runs tonight, July 30 - August 8, 2015 at the Randolph Theatre, 736 Bathurst Street, Toronto.
