Rehearsals are in full swing for the November 5 opening of HELLO, DOLLY!, starring Lee Roy Reams in the title role. This is the first time in the U.S. that the part of 'Dolly' will be played by a man.

Tony Award-winning actor Jason Alexander recently assumed the role of 'Norman Drexel' in Larry David's hit comedy Fish In the Dark, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). Alexander steps into the role created by David in the comedy about a death in the family. The limited engagement run of the production, originally scheduled through June 7, is extended for six weeks through Saturday, August 1 at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48 Street). Broadway's FISH IN THE DARK Sets Rush Policy

A $35 rush policy will be launched on Tuesday, June 9th when Tony Award-winning actor Jason Alexander assumes the role of Norman Drexel in Larry David's hit comedy Fish In the Dark, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). A limited number of rush tickets will be available the day of the performance at the box office of the Cort Theatre. The $35 rush tickets will be limited to 2 per person and will be available when the box office opens.

The record-breaking Broadway production of FISH IN THE DARK, written by and starring Larry David, has recouped its entire capitalization. The comedy about a death in the family, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, set a box office record for garnering the highest advance sale for any play in the history of Broadway and broke two house box office records (including its own) twice. FISH IN THE DARK began previews Monday, February 2 and opened on Thursday, March 5 at the Cort Theatre.
