State Opera will present one of the most beloved operettas of all time at the Adelaide Festival Theatre later this month. Graeme Murphy's stunning new production, set against the lush and glittering backdrop of art- deco Paris, will bewitch audiences for five performances only, from November 29.

The Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, Sydney Youth Orchestra and a stellar cast of performers join to present a wonderful expression of Leonard Bernstein's CANDIDE under the baton of Sydney Philharmonia Choirs' Artistic and Music Director Brett Weymark and theatrical direction by Mitchell Butel. 

The largest music and Halloween-themed experience in the Southeast region returns to Miami for its third turn in 2018. Presented by Diskolab, WYNWOOD FEAR FACTORY is set for Friday, October 26 and Saturday, October 27. The two-day event takes place at Miami's premier event venue, Mana Wynwood Warehouse. Join Sydney Philharmonia Choirs for the highlight of their 2018 season, a rare concert performance of Leonard Bernstein's genius musical comedy masterwork, Candide, performed by an all-star Australian cast including Caroline O'Connor, Alexander Lewis, Phillip Scott, Annie Aitken and Kanen Breen.

Thirty-four orchestra executives, administrators, musicians, students, and career changers from across the country will participate in the League of American Orchestras' Essentials of Orchestra Management program in Los Angeles, July 16-26. The ten-day immersive seminar, taking place on the campus of the University of Southern California (USC), develops the careers of orchestra managers, providing an in-depth overview of orchestra administration and offering participants the unique opportunity to learn from a faculty of orchestra executives, musicians, and leadership experts.

Following the success of his recent Nick Row featured “Clockwise,” LA-based artist, Alexander Lewis, returns with “Wassup,” an explosive MadeinTYO collaboration with a feature from Harlem native, S'natra,which is available now. As one of the most promising and multi-faceted artists and producers, Alexander is quickly becoming a household name. Kicking off with a catchy hook from MadeinTYO, he then effortlessly dives rapid-fire flow that sets the pace for “Wassup” as a hip-hop anthem. The undeniably catchy track moves onto a standout verse from S'natra who's also previously collaborated with Alexander on his own track “Who Got It” and  “Lemme Put This Cup Down” with Brasstracks.

2018 is the 100th anniversary of the birth of Leonard Bernstein. Sydney Philharmonia Choirs will acknowledge thissignificant anniversary by participating in the global celebrations to honour Bernstein's legacy, with two planned performances of the choral masterpiece, Candide (1956) on Saturday 29th September and Sunday 30th September 2018 at the Sydney Opera House.

The 7th annual SnowGlobe Music Festival (SG17) returned this weekend to its gorgeous alpine home in South Lake Tahoe, California, to ring in the New Year. Taking place over three days and nights, SnowGlobe is the largest outdoor New Year's Eve music festival in the country. A truly unique and inspiring experience, fans attended SG17, enjoying over 50 diverse artists performing on three stages, late night afterparties, Big Air snowboard and ski showcases from local Sierra at Tahoe pro-athletes, nightly firework displays and more.

Sydney Philharmonia Choirs has this morning announced its 2018 Season comprising seven stunning productions, from the cornerstones of classical music to the best of Australian and international contemporary, and a centenary production of Bernstein's Broadway hit, Candide.

BAM presents The New York premiere of Matthew Aucoin's acclaimed opera Crossing, an American Repertory Theater production directed by Diane Paulus, running tonight, October 3, through October 8, 2017 at BAM Howard Gilman Opera House (30 Lafayette Ave).
