The Santa Paula Theater Center will present Agatha Christie's murder mystery THE HOLLOW from November 9 through December 16, 2018 on its Main Stage at 125. South 7th Street in historic downtown Santa Paula. Performances are Todays & Saturdays at 8 pm and Sunday matinees at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $24 for Adults, $22 for Seniors/Students, and $18 for Children. La Evocación De La Niñez A Partir De La Visión Del Salón De La Plástica Mexicana

En sus casi siete décadas de vida, el Salón de la Plástica Mexicana (SPM) ha dado cabida a la obra más representativa de la plástica nacional. A partir del 8 de noviembre, el recinto del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes albergará La infancia en la obra de los artistas del SPM a través de siete décadas, muestra conformada por piezas seleccionadas de más de una veintena de artistas. Además, en el marco de la exposición, el pintor, escultor y caricaturista mexicano Jorge Tovar será reconocido con una retrospectiva.

It's been nearly two weeks since Queensland Theatre released this 2019 season, and it's taken me nearly two weeks to comprehend exactly how colourful and formidable next year is going to be. A few days before the season launch, I had the pleasure of having doing a phone interview with Strong, who had just come from the closing celebrations for the company's successful run of Jasper Jones.

Marga Gomez Led KING OF CUBA Extends At Berkeley City Club

King of Cuba, a new comedy by award-winning writer Cristina Garcia, has extended through August 26th at the historic Berkeley City Club (originally scheduled to close August 19). In King of Cuba, two aging Cubanos hilariously have a go at each other. Opening night Marga was described as 'dethroning machismo,' while the house erupted as El Comandante (Marga Gomez) remarked "Nobody has bigger cojones than I do." The night then roiled with laughter as the two silver haired Cubanos 'knock each other down' verbally and otherwise.

KING OF CUBA A Play By Cristina García Opens Tonight

King of Cuba, a new comedy by award-winning writer Cristina Garcia, opens with a press night today, July 21, and runs through August 19 (previews July 19 & 20) at the historic Berkeley City Club. The summer adventure of the Central Works 2018 season King of Cuba, is developed by Ms. Garcia in the Central Works Writers Workshop featuring the lesbian-gender-bending comedian Marga Gomez, and the Grammy-winning 'bongocero' Carlos Caro. All are Cubanx celebrities living in the Bay Area. Directed by Gary Graves, the full cast includes Marco Aponte, Leticia Duarte, Elena Garrity, Marga Gomez*, Ben Ortega and Steve Ortiz.(*SAG)
