Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director), Women's Project (Julie Crosby, Producing Artistic Director) and La Jolla Playhouse (Christopher Ashley, Artistic Director; Michael S. Rosenberg, Managing Director) have announced complete casting for the New York premiere of MILK LIKE SUGAR, a new play by Kirsten Greenidge in her New York debut.

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) continues its Uptown Series with the world premiere of The Talls, written by Anna Kerrigan and directed by Carolyn Cantor. Ms. Kerrigan's film Five Days Gone recently premiered at the Brooklyn Film Festival. The Talls will feature Gerard Canonico (Spring Awakening), Timothee Chalamet (Burning Blue), Shannon Esper (Cherry Orchard), Lauren Holmes, Michael Oberholtzer (Incident at Vichy & Raft of The Medusa), Peter Rini (Proposals) and Christa Scott-Reed (The Pitman Painters). Previews begin on August 1st and opening night is Monday, August 15th.

Directed by Davis McCallum, Sex Lives of Our Parents will feature Teddy Bergmann (Peter and the Starcatcher), Lisa Emery (Far East), Daniel Jenkins (Mary Poppins), Virginia Kull (Dividing the Estate), Ben Rappaport (NBC's 'Outsourced') and Mark Zeisler (Second Stage Theatre's Eurydice). Previews begin on June 7th and opening night is Wednesday, June 22

Unscreened, a playful evening of new, short works for the stage by some of Hollywood's fastest-rising female writers and featuring a multi-star cast, is set for its Los Angeles premiere presented by Black Sheep Entertainment and Firefly: Theater & Films. Performances at the Zephyr Theatre begin Monday, January 31 for a limited engagement through Monday, March 7. Opening is set for Monday, January 31 at 8pm.

Directed by Trip Cullman (Adam Bock's The Drunken City at PH and Swimming in the Shallows, plus Bachelorette, Some Men, The Last Sunday in June, the recent Edgewise, Adam Rapp's upcoming The Hallway Trilogy) the production will close Sunday, January 23 at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street).

EDGEWISE -- a new play by Eliza Clark, directed by Trip Cullman -- will be given its world-premiere this fall in a co-production by the Off-Broadway companies Page 73 and The Play Company, with previews set to begin November 9 and opening night set for November 17 at the Walkerspace (46 Walker St.) in Tribeca.
