Ben Rimalower's BAD WITH MONEY & PATTI ISSUES Extend Into June

BAD WITH MONEY, Ben Rimalower's new play about spending beyond his means - performed in rep with his first piece PATTI ISSUES - will be extended at The Duplex (61 Christopher Street at Seventh Avenue) through June 21. Ben was featured in today's New York Times and a recent interview on WNYC / New York Public Radio, available to listen here. In a recent four star review from Time Out New York, BAD WITH MONEY was hailed as "light, funny" and "vividly personal," as well as "courageously honest, keenly specific and emotionally naked" by The Advocate. PATTI ISSUES, which ran for a year at the same venue and subsequently toured the country and abroad, explores his obsession with Broadway diva Patti LuPone and his relationship with his troubled gay father. The pieces will be performed on alternating Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM through April 29 and then various days and times through June 21. Both shows are written and performed by Ben Rimalower and directed by Aaron Mark.
Paper Mill's Adopt-A-School Project Turns 25; ArtsFest 2015 Announced

Now celebrating its 25th Anniversary, the Adopt-A-School Project is education outreach for underserved New Jersey students who have little or no exposure to live theater or theater arts education. Throughout the multi-year sequence, students have direct access to live performances, theater artists and professional teaching artists that is completely free to participating schools. Since Paper Mill Playhouse created the Adopt-A-School Project in 1989, it has provided over 7,000 students in 70 high schools with quality resources that otherwise would not have been available to them.

Leslie Kritzer (Sondheim on Sondheim, A Catered Affair) and Kyle Dean Massey (Pippin, Next to Normal) join the slate of performers scheduled for Broadway Sings Tori, a one-night concert benefitting RAINN on Monday, April 20th. Vocalists Klea Blackhurst, Darius de Haas, La Tanya Hall, Leslie Kritzer, Jeffrey Schecter, and pianist/vocalist Billy Stritch-brought the sounds of the city to life on March 21, 22 and 23.
