Continuing its tradition of bringing Broadway's favorites back to life, SMTC is proud to announce their next production, the hilarious, Tony Award record-breaking Mel Brooks musical The Producers, for a special engagement. Performances will take place at the Tempe Center for the Arts (700 Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe AZ). This full production of will feature an incredible cast and a full live 20-piece orchestra, a rarity in town.

Happy Birthday, Hunter Foster! Foster is perhaps best known for playing 'Bobby Strong' in Urinetown, for which he received nominations for an Outer Critics Circle Award and a Lucille Lortel Award. In 2003, Foster starred as 'Seymour' in the Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors, for which he received his first Tony Award nomination. Foster also appeared as 'Leo Bloom' in The Producers on Broadway, 'Ensign Pulver' in Mister Roberts at the Kennedy Center, 'Ben' in Modern Orthodox off-Broadway, and 'Sam Phillips' in Million Dollar Quartet.

Noises Off will be directed by Don Stephenson, who has directed plays across the country and has appeared in numerous Broadway hit productions including A Gentlemen's Guide to Love and Murder, Rock of Ages, and as Leo Bloom in The Producers. With many college commencements occurring in May and June, students are thinking of their futures and reflecting on what comes next for them. Gregory J. Clark is one of those students. He recently graduated from Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey with a Bachelor's in Music and is ready to start his career.
