CreateTheater New Works Festival to Stage THE GOLDEN CAGE

CreateTheater will present The Golden Cage, a new musical, as part of their New Works Festival. The Golden Cage runs April 20-24 at Theatre Four in Theatre Row at 42nd Street, NYC. With just two characters and a score described as Guettel-and-Sondheim-esque, The Golden Cage is a whimsical, sophisticated story for multi-generational audiences about our self-imposed cages of isolation and illusion, and the human connection that sets us free.

World Premiere of SUFFS Extended at The Public

SUFFS, the exciting new musical by Shaina Taub, has extended again with a two-week extension through May 15. With book, music, and lyrics by Shaina Taub, music direction and music supervision by Andrea Grody, choreography by Raja Feather Kelly, and direction by Leigh Silverman, SUFFS began performances on March 13 and officially opens on April 6.

The Public Theater is now presenting the World Premiere of SUFFS, a new musical with book, music, and lyrics by Public Theater Artist-in-Residence Shaina Taub, music direction and music supervision by Andrea Grody, choreography by Obie Award winner Raja Feather Kelly, and direction by Tony Award nominee Leigh Silverman.
