Bob Mould Debuts on PBS's AUSTIN CITY LIMITS Tonight

With Best of 2012 accolades for his Silver Age album propelling it to #42 in the annual VILLAGE VOICE PAZZ & JOP national critics poll, Bob Mould will make his debut appearance on AUSTIN CITY LIMITS, airing tonight, January 26 on PBS stations nationwide (check local listings).

As he winds down a banner year featuring some of the most enthusiastic critical notices of his career for the incredible Silver Age (Merge), a debut appearance on THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN, a CONAN performance, and a first ever AUSTIN CITY LIMITS TV taping, Bob Mould has confirmed that his widely sold out tour will add four more North American stops and an Australian run in early 2013.

Bob Mould has launched a Kickstarter campaign with the goal of bringing the now legendary See A Little Light: A Celebration of the Music and Legacy of Bob Mould all-star tribute concert to an audience beyond the lucky 2300 attendees who made it into Los Angeles' Walt Disney Concert Hall on November 21, 2011.

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts announces the winter/spring confirmed performances to take place at The Barns at Wolf Trap, the first scheduled for tonight, October 4 at 8 pm. This year's season features international stars from a wide array of musical backgrounds and genres, including classical, jazz, folk, bluegrass, pop, rock, world music, and more. The 56 shows booked thus far include seven Barns debuts, a list that is sure to grow as additional announcements are made throughout the fall. Tickets are currently on sale to the general public.

According to Barbra Streisand's official website, fans have a chance to win two tickets to MusiCares Evening/Concert where Barbra will be honored as Person of the Year. The event will be held on February 11 in Los Angeles.

Performances by multi-GRAMMY-winning artistsTony Bennett, Seal, Donna Summer, BeBe Winans, and Stevie Wonder; multi-GRAMMY-winning artists and current GRAMMY nominees Jeff Beck and Herbie Hancock; two-time-GRAMMY-winning artist and current GRAMMY nominee LeAnn Rimes; two-time GRAMMY winner Diana Krall; GRAMMY-winner and current GRAMMY nominee Barry Manilow; artist and member of the GRAMMY-nominated 'Promises, Promises'cast album Kristin Chenoweth; artists and members of the GRAMMY-nominated 'Glee'cast Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and Darren Criss; and artist Nikki Yanofsky. Ms. Streisand, a multi-GRAMMY-winning artistand current GRAMMY nominee, will close the evening with her own special performance. Additional performers will be announced shortly.

DSALA Hosts TWENTYWONDER Benefit, 3/6

The Down Syndrome Association of Los Angeles (DSALA) will present TWENTYWONDER, a One-Night World's Fair benefit event to support those born with Down syndrome living in greater Los Angeles. The evening will feature a unique array of specimens from the world of Arts and Sciences from entomologist Taylor Lura to movie riffing with Cinematic Titanic. TWENTYWONDER will be held on Saturday, March 6 from 6:00 p.m. - midnight at the Veterans' Memorial Building (4117 Overland Avenue) in Culver City.

Voices for Change with Alfred Molina, Michael Ceveris, Cady Huffman Oct. 10

Ars Nova presents the third and final installment of Voices for Change, featuring performances from Broadway's leading musical actors, including Alfred Molina, Michael Cerveris, Cady Huffman and Karen Mason, among others. Friday, October 10th at 7 PM at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street, just west of 10th Ave.).
