The pandemic has not slowed down Broadway musical theatre soprano and leading lady Glory Crampton. Ms. Crampton rechanneled her singing, acting and directing talents and conceived Project 9 - a new 15-minute music video homage to the Tony Award-winning musical NINE reconnecting an all-star Broadway cast and full orchestra.

Keir Choreographic Awards Announce Finalists

The Keir Choreographic Award is Australia's first major choreographic award presented by the Keir Foundation, Carriageworks and Dancehouse with the Australia Council. The Keir Choreographic Award is a national biennial award dedicated to commissioning short works and promoting innovative, experimental and cross-artform practices in contemporary dance. The award invites Australian professional artists with an established practice to propose a choreographic idea for an original live performance of no more than 20 minutes.

In the WBT production of GEORGE M!, John Scherer, as George M. Cohan, is joined by a terrific cast including the 'Four Cohans': Jim Walton as George's father, Jerry, Melodie Wolford of Putnam Valley as George's mom, Nellie and Amanda Trusty as his sister, Josie. George's first wife, Ethel, is played by Laura Schutter and Jeanette Minson is Agnes, who becomes George's second wife. EORGE M! tells the life story of George M. Cohan, a giant of the American Musical Theater who gave us such songs asYankee Doodle Dandy, Over There, You're A Grand Old Flag, and Give My Regards to Broadway. The show follows him over a 60-year period period from the late 1880s until 1937. The story begins with his childhood in Rhode Island on the vaudeville circuit with his parents and sister as 'The Four Cohans,' continuing to New York, where he starts his 25-year absolute reign of the Broadway stage.
