Tonight, August 24th, a new psychodrama from the mind of Andrew Terrance Kaberline (A LIST OF IRRATIONAL FEARS FOR FUTURE LEADERS OF THE WORLD) will make its world premiere at The Hive NYC. The play will open August 24th and run through September 2nd. JERK: Or, The Stimulation of Self is directed by Dylan James Amick and produced by Julia Katz and Critical Point Theatre.

The Saint Sebastian Players (SSP) conclude the company's 36th season with an absurd twist on Shakespeare, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead by Tom Stoppard. Performances run April 28-May 21, 2017 at St. Bonaventure, 1625 W. Diversey (enter on Marshfield), Chicago.

The Educational Theatre Association (EdTA), a national non-profit headquartered in Cincinnati, announces the selection of schools for the third year of a middle school program called JumpStart Theatre.  The schools being added in 2017-18 are: Clark Montessori High School, Roberts Academy, and Oyler School. All the schools are in Cincinnati.

The Amoralists, in association with Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, presents the world premiere of Ken Urban's NIBBLER, directed by Benjamin Kamine. NIBBLER runs now through March 18, 2017 in a limited engagement at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, located at 224 Waverly Place between Perry & West 11th Streets in New York City. On Tuesday, January 24 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., the Old Capitol Museum will partner with New Stage Theatre on a performance that explores efforts before the Civil War to help escaped enslaved people make their way to free territory. Oh Freedom! The Story of the Underground Railroad will tell about the men and women active in the fight against slavery with songs of the period.

On Saturday, July 23 'Neighbors 2' star Seth Rogen celebrated the 34th birthday of his wife, Lauren Miller by inviting 50 of their closest friends to see The Unauthorized Musical Parody of Troop Beverly Hills housed at Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Angeles, CA. Both Seth and Lauren were seen dancing, cheering & laughing along as the cast performed to a creative musical score, which included hit songs from Whitney Houston, Madonna, and Cyndi Lauper.

The production will be accompanied by a 15-piece live orchestra.
