New Georges' 22nd production year will spotlight on The New Georges Jam ON TOAST at Dixon Place, a new play festival that will feature work by the New Georges Jam, a "performance gym" for early-career playwrights and directors founded at New Georges in 2010 by Lucy Alibar(Beasts of the Southern Wild), Jess Chayes (HOME/SICK) and Portia Krieger (Eager to Lose). The New Georges Jam ON TOAST will feature 19 Jammers past and present - including two playwrights receiving their first New York productions. But first New Georges will kick things off with The 1st George Sand Invitational One-Minute Play Festival, the first all-women edition of the nationwide One-Minute Play Festival, January 13th & 14th at INTAR Theatre, featuring one-minute plays by over 50 female playwrights. The '14 season will also feature a special collaboration between New Georges and Barnard College in March, New Plays at Barnard, which will bring downtown artists and the new-play experience to students at Barnard and Columbia.

WAM Theatre announces its Northeast regional premiere of 'Emilie: La Marquise Du Chatelet Defends Her Life Tonight', written by Lauren Gunderson and directed by Kristen van Ginhoven. The production, which will run from Nov. 7 through 24 with preview performances tonight and tomorrow, Nov. 7 and 8.

WAM Theatre will provide an ASL Interpreted Performance for the deaf and hearing impaired on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. at its performance of "Emilie: La Marquise Du Chatelet Defends Her Life Tonight". This is the first time WAM Theatre will present an ASL Interpreted Performance, making them one of the first cultural organizations in the Berkshires to do so. WAM also announces two "Talkbacks", post-show discussions with members of the artistic staff and cast, following the 2 p.m. performances on Sunday, Nov. 10 and 17.

The quirky revenge comedy production presented by Theatre on Fire, Exit, Pursued By A Bear written by Lauren Gunderson and directed by Darren Evans is coming to Charlestown Working Theater this October.

Playwright Lauren Gunderson's I and You will make its World Premiere with the Marin Theatre Company, directed by Sarah Rasmussen (of Oregon Shakespeare Festival's BLACK SWAN Lab for New Work), and featuring Jessica Lynn Carroll (Bellwether) and Devion McArthur (MTC debut), October 10 - November 3, 2013. Opening Night is set for Tuesday, October 15, and previews run tonight, October 10 - Sunday, October 13.
