Theatrical Outfit begins its Season of Compassion with the dramatic comedy The Savannah Disputation, written by Georgia-born playwright Evan Smith and, he says, inspired by today's politics and his Savannah grandmother. The show will run August 21 - September 7, 2014. The show will feature Alex Bond, Lane Carlock, Shannon Eubanks and Mark Kincaid. This is the 38th season for Theatrical Outfit, the second-oldest professional theater company in Atlanta, and the home of stories that stir the soul.

The Nora Theatre Company will present Lauren Gunderson's Emilie: La Marquise du Chatelet Defends Her Life Tonight. The piece will be the Boston acting debut for Lee Mikeska Gardner in the title role. Ms. Gardner was appointed Artistic Director of The Nora Theatre Company in November 2013 following a national search. The press performance is Monday, September 8 at 7:30PM.

PROFILE THEATRE (Adriana Baer, Artistic Director) has announced the productions that will be featured in the 2015 season featuring the work of playwright Sarah Ruhl. The season, which will begin in January 2015, will include four main stage productions and four staged readings as part of the In Dialogue Series, performed on the Morrison and Alder Stages at Artists Repertory Theatre.
