Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury kicks off their 2019-20 Equity Mainstage season with the fantastically fun country musical Honky Tonk Laundry.

Central Florida Community Arts is proud to present its annual Broadway Concert Series production, Into The Woods, August 22 & 23, 2019. With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine, this concert-style production musical is directed by Rob A. Lott and produced by Joshua Vickery through CFCArts, with music direction by Jacob Haines, assistant direction and visual design by Ashley Willsey, choreography by Katherine Rivera.

Fans of the musicals Cabaret, Chicago and Kiss of the Spider Woman will enjoy the musical The World Goes 'Round at TheatreZone in Naples on April 25 through May 5. The show is a stunning review from the songbook of the multiple Tony Award-winning team of composer John Kander and lyricist Fred Ebb, who wrote these musicals and many others. The duo also scored several movies, including New York, New York, and wrote songs for Liza Minnelli and Chita Rivera. And the World Goes 'Round won Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Musical and Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Musical Revue.

Orlando Shakes' reimagined version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, originally produced in 2014, returns this holiday season. The production is set in an attic, where a family recounts Dickens' classic story to its youngest member.  I sat down with Laura Hodos (Mrs. Cratchit and others) to discuss her past, present, and future over Christmas tea.
