Dallas Theater Center announced the complete cast and creative team for the world premiere of Fly, a new musical based on J.M. Barrie's novel, Peter Pan. Three-time Tony Award-winning producer Jeffrey Seller (Rent, Avenue Q, In the Heights) makes his directorial debut with this production.

Tickets go on sale today for the world premiere of new stage musical From Here to Eternity. The show will preview at the Shaftesbury Theatre from 30th September with Press Night on 23rd October 2013. Narrated by Mandy Patinkin (Homeland), the film features interviews with former and current Joffrey dancers, the breakthroughs of choreograpers Twyla Tharp, Laura Dean and Margo Sappington, and rare archival performance footage, including excerpts from signature works Astarte, Trinity, and Billboards (the latter with music by Prince).

The 2012-2013 season of the Bryn Mawr College Performing Arts Series opens in September with new works by the Voloshky Ukrainian Dance Ensemble and Bread and Puppet Theater. One explores a rich mix of cultures through music and dance, and the other reflects contemporary issues through theater and puppetry.

The Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) welcomes two new faculty members to the Dance Department for the 2012-2013 school year. Beginning this September, Cathy Hazeltine Fallon, Instructor of Children's Dance and Ballet, and Jennifer Markham, Instructor of Ballet, will teach in Franklin and at the school's new satellite location in downtown Hudson. FSPA's Dance Department offers programs for all ages and levels in ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip hop and lyrical, including classes specifically for boys, adults and beginner teens.
