Hybrid Cinema has announced the world premiere of the feature length documentary Joffrey: Mavericks of American Dance at Dance On Camera Festival's opening night in New York City on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 8:30pm.

The internationally-renowned composer, singer, director/choreographer Meredith Monk will perform selections from her repertoire and discuss her singular career in an up-close-and-personal setting when La MaMa presents MEREDITH MONK IN CONVERSATION for one-night only on Monday, January 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E. 4 St.) in Manhattan, it has been announced by Mia Yoo, artistic director of La Mama. Goodspeed Musicals, the first two-time Tony Award winning theatre in the country, is pumped to announce the cast of Cutman: a boxing musical. The brand new spring production will kick off a three show season at Goodspeed's Norma Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn. This striking musical will run from May 12 through June 5, 2011. The cast will train with the pros at the legendary Lion's Den in Middletown, Conn. Boxing equipment is generously provided by Everlast. Cutman is sponsored by Essex Savings Bank.
