Beginning with its first preview tomorrow (Thursday, November 1), a limited number of balcony seats will be sold as rush tickets, priced at $29, to Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, the new play by Aaron Sorkin, directed by Bartlett Sher, and starring Jeff Daniels as Atticus Finch. Rush tickets will be limited to 2 per person and will only be available at the Shubert Theatre box office (225 West 44 Street) beginning at 10am on the day of the performance.

PBS revealed tonight that TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD was voted America's best-loved novel during this evening's GREAT AMERICAN READ "Grand Finale". The final episode, taped in front of a live audience at the Masonic Hall in New York City, counted down all 100 novels, which were first announced to the public in April. Yesterday an Alabama court judge granted Scott Rudin's request for an expedited trial and agreed to move the adjudication to the Southern New York circuit. The two-week trial is scheduled to begin June 4.
