Break a Leg Theater Works, one of the premier performing arts programs on the South Shore, announced today co-founders Kyle Wrentz and Healy Sammis are producing and directing a COVID-safe virtual movie presentation of Jordan Wolfe's Off-Broadway hit, 'Night of the Living Dead! The Musical!' - high school edition.
On March 24, 2017, a group of Broadway professionals took to the stage at PS 125 in Harlem to be part of a panel called BROADWAY BOUND: Careers in the Theatre and Beyond. This special event panel was presented by Project Broadway in partnership with Harlem Grown. Over two hundred students between the ages of 7-12 from PS197, PS154, and PS125 came together to be part in an interactive panel where Broadway experts offered insight, education and advice on working on and off Broadway.
The national tour of THE LION KING returns to kick off the 10th Broadway In Boston season at the Boston Opera House, most fittingly as the musical reopened the venue following its historic renovation in 2004. Some of the effects have diminished over the years, but the opening night audience roared its approval.
