Sherman Theatre presents TALES OF THE BROTHERS GRIMM from 26th November – 31st December 2022.

With British Summer Time (BST) starting this weekend, Regent's Park Open Air Theatre have today announced casting for Peter Pan (17 May - 15 June), which launches the 2018 summer season in the final year of the First World War Centenary Commemorations. Fiston Barek takes the title role of Peter Pan and Dennis Herdman plays the role of Captain Hook.

Tron Theatre Company is working with Sherman Theatre, Cardiff to present the first out-of-London production of Stephen Adly Guirgis's The Motherf**ker with the Hat. After a run at Tron Theatre (1st 17th March), the production will be presented at Sherman Theatre from 21st 31st March. The fast-moving, foul-mouthed play was Guirgis's Broadway debut in 2011 and this will be the production's Scottish and Welsh premiere.

Singer and actor Jack Shalloo's theatre credits include Madness musical Our House, Departure Lounge and Hamlet the Musical, and he released an album, London Soul, in 2011. He's currently appearing in The Little Matchgirl and Other Happier Tales at Shakespeare's Globe, which begins previews on 24 November.

The production is visually stunning, blending live actors, puppets and keenly choreographed movement that breathe life into everyday inanimate objects. The puppetry involves a huge range of ground-breaking techniques and variety of creations - from the smallest mechanical creatures to the huge god-like masks and limbs that represent Oberon and Titania, King and Queen of the Fairies.

Helena's Act II lamentation in A Midsummer Night's Dream, 'O weary night, O long and tedious night, abate thy hours,' is not something anyone will ever say watching the Kennedy Center's current revival. This innovative production uses a synergy of human and puppet interaction to bring alive Shakespeare's timeless classic in a splendid production.
